COSMETIC TATTOO Preparation

Pre-Procedure:

  • Stay hydrated 48 hours before appointment. 

  • No alcohol or coffee 24 hours before appointment. 

  • Don't workout before your appointment. 

  • If you are prone to coldsores, take an anti viral tablet 2 days before appointment, and the day of. You can get these tablets from your local chemist. 

  • Please do not come with makeup on. 

  • Avoid blood thinning medications 72 hours before. This includes fish oil, vitamin c, paracetamol and nurofen. 

  • Make sure you aren't sunburnt before your appointment. 

  • If considering botox, please have 2-3 weeks before your appointment.

  • If you are on accutane or retin-a or have been for the past year, Cosmetic tattoo will take a long time to heal. It is recommended to wait 12 months after coming off the medication to consider cosmetic tattoo.
